A 47-year-old doctor has been charged with assaulting his wife and son.
Vincent Nyaboga Onyiego appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Wendy Kagendo and denied assaulting his family members.
The court heard that he assaulted his wife Laura Bonareri Onyiego on December 9, thereby occasioning her bodily harm.
The charge sheet stated that the incident happened at Golf Course II in Ngumo area within Nairobi County.
He is also allegedly assaulted his son Kiri Osebe Oyiengo causing him bodily harm.
The police said he assaulted the two when he went to pick his five year old daughter. The court heard the two have divorced since 2020.
Laura reported the matter to capital Hill police station.
He was released on a cash bail of Sh20,000.
